At the age of 17, Jonathan finally scaled through and has joined more than 3 million global accounting professionals under the Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Narrating his story, Adewale said he has never won an award in his life and only had hopes that he will pass all his professional examinations at once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In his words: \u201c<em>I had the hope that I would pass all the stages of the examination at once<\/em>.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Young Adewale after becoming a chartered accountant <em>was awarded a Full Scholarship by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Nigeria (ICAN) to fulfil his dream<\/em> to attain a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Accounting with First Class honours at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), South West, Nigeria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adewale has now set the record of being the youngest accounting professional in Africa, if not the youngest, in the world.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A brilliant 17-year-old Nigerian boy by name Jonathan Adewale has emerged as the youngest ever chartered accountant in Africa after<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":2194,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"colormag_page_container_layout":"default_layout","colormag_page_sidebar_layout":"default_layout","footnotes":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-2193","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-uncategorized"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
