{"id":22101,"date":"2024-06-21T11:02:27","date_gmt":"2024-06-21T11:02:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=22101"},"modified":"2024-06-21T11:02:31","modified_gmt":"2024-06-21T11:02:31","slug":"2024-university-of-melbourne-scholarship-human-rights-award-fully-funded","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/2024-university-of-melbourne-scholarship-human-rights-award-fully-funded\/","title":{"rendered":"2024 University of Melbourne Scholarship (Human Rights Award) | Fully Funded"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The University of Melbourne Scholarships are currently open for interested international and domestic candidates willing to pursue a postgraduate degree in Australia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The University of Melbourne in Australia annually invites local and international students to apply for the Human Rights Scholarship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The scholarship is offered to domestic or international students who are enrolling in a graduate research degree and undertaking research in the field of Human Rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eligible applicants are selected on the basis of academic merit, the area of study in and level of commitment to human rights, and the strength of supporting documentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>have applied for and meet the entry requirements for a graduate research degree at the University of Melbourne, or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>be currently enrolled in a graduate research degree at the University of Melbourne.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>intend to undertake graduate research in the field of Human Rights<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>be committed to the peaceful advancement of respect for human rights that extends beyond academic studies (such as voluntary work and\/or work experience);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>have not already completed a research qualification at the same or higher level as the course for which a scholarship is sought<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>intend to study as a full-time student unless there are compassionate or compelling circumstances that prevent you from undertaking full-time study<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>not have previously received a Human Rights Scholarship<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Duration and Reward<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Living allowance of $42,000 per year pro rata (2024 full-time study rate) for up to 2 years for students undertaking a Master by research degree or up to 3.5 years for students undertaking a Doctoral degree.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Full fee offset for up to two years for students undertaking a Masters by Research degree or up to four years for students undertaking a doctoral degree.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Relocation grant of $2,000 for students moving from States or Territories outside Victoria or $3,000 for students moving from outside Australia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) Single Membership for international students who require a student visa to study in Australia<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How To Apply?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/scholarships.unimelb.edu.au\/awards\/human-rights-scholarship\">CLICK HERE TO APPLY<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deadline: October 31, 2024<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The University of Melbourne Scholarships are currently open for interested international and domestic candidates willing to pursue a postgraduate degree<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":9771,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"colormag_page_container_layout":"default_layout","colormag_page_sidebar_layout":"default_layout","footnotes":""},"categories":[47],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-22101","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-scholarship"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
