{"id":22221,"date":"2024-06-25T13:07:24","date_gmt":"2024-06-25T13:07:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=22221"},"modified":"2024-06-25T13:07:29","modified_gmt":"2024-06-25T13:07:29","slug":"2024-midwestern-oil-and-gas-scholarship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/2024-midwestern-oil-and-gas-scholarship\/","title":{"rendered":"2024 Midwestern Oil and Gas Scholarship"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Midwestern Oil and Gas hereby invites suitably qualified Nigerian students to apply for the Midwestern Oil and Gas Scholarship 2024 Scheme.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Midwestern Oil and Gas Scholarship is aimed at promoting academic excellence and improving the skill-based education among youths of our host communities and Delta State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Category of Awards<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>University Community Award\u00a0\u2013 For Host Communities Only\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University Merit Award\u00a0\u2013 For Delta State Indigenes Only<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>UNIVERSITY&nbsp;COMMUNITY AWARD \u2013&nbsp;<\/strong>For Host Communities Only<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Scholarship is open to 100 &amp;\u00a0200 level students at the time\u00a0of application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum of 5 Credits in SSCE\u00a0or GCE including Mathematics\u00a0&amp; English, in one sitting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>JAMB\/UTME &amp; University\u00a0admission letter from\u00a0an accredited\/approved\u00a0university in Nigeria.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Current University ID Card.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identification letter signed by\u00a0the Ward Councilor or CACC\u00a0(Community Accredited\u00a0Contact-men Committee).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>UNIVERSITY&nbsp;MERIT AWARD<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;For Delta State Indigenes Only<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Scholarship is open to 200\u00a0level students who must have\u00a0a minimum CGPA of 3.5 at the\u00a0time of application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum of 5 Credits in SSCE\u00a0or GCE including Mathematics &amp;\u00a0English, in one sitting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>JAMB\/UTME &amp; University admission\u00a0letter from an accredited\/approved\u00a0university in Nigeria.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Current University ID Card.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cumulative Grade Point Average\u00a0(CGPA) of his\/her first year in the\u00a0University (3.5 and above).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Letter of identification from LGA.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Duration and Reward<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Midwestern Oil and Gas Scholarship is a N150,000 support awarded annually till the year of students\u2019 graduation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Note<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Application for Midwestern JV scholarship is FREE.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SCHOLASTICA is the official platform for the Midwestern JV University Scholarship Award\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Beware of fraudulent websites when applying for the Midwestern JV scholarship online.
