The program also covers round-trip transportation to the host country and a comprehensive health benefit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be a U.S. citizen at the time of application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have a bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent before the start of the grant.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meet the specific requirements of your chosen country and award type.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicants must meet the language requirements of the award to which they are applying and demonstrate sufficient competency to complete their project and adjust to life in the host country.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preference will be given to applicants whose higher education was undertaken primarily at educational institutions in the United States.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Accident &amp; Sickness Health Benefits<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>24\/7 support line for urgent and non-urgent situations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>12 months of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/us.fulbrightonline.org\/current-fulbrighters\/non-competitive-eligibility-faqs\">non-competitive eligibility (NCE) hiring status<\/a>\u00a0within the federal government<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A stipend broadly based on the cost of living in the host country.
