We want to amplify new perspectives, stories and voices on our changing climate with a particular focus on the economic transition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through Pulitzer\u2019s&nbsp;<a class=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/pulitzercenter.org\/grants-fellowships\/opportunities-journalists\/our-work-environment-grants\">Our Work\/Environment initiative<\/a>, journalists have documented some of the risks of rising temperatures for workers, in fields and in factories. In the past two years, reporters have traveled throughout India and across Nigeria, Ghana, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uruguay, Paraguay, and South Africa to document the impact of extreme heat and weather on some of the world\u2019s most vulnerable workers\u2014including women who are often heads of household\u2014and we encourage stories that detail the interconnected nature of business, climate, and consumer choices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your film will need to be 25 minutes or less and be completed by June 2025.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The successful filmmaker will receive the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Up to \u00a320k funding for their film<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A named executive for their documentary and production support<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A commission from the Financial Times with their final film made freely available on the FT\u2019s platform.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Global promotion of their film from all three partners and associated screenings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Membership of the OWM global alumni network<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And an industry mentor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To apply you\u2019ll need to show:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>5+ years of evidenced experience as a documentary-maker.
