The Ondo State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Mr. Olaolu Akindolire, on behalf of the Governor, Lucky Ayedatiwa, has urged indigent students of the state in Tertiary institutions across the country to apply for the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Recall that The Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) was introduced by the Government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and passed into law in June 2023, to ensure that no Nigerian student is denied access to education by providing succor to students in the payment of school fees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, the disbursement of the loan to beneficiaries commences next week, and the Commissioner for Education is appealing to students of state origin to urgently register for the scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
