This program will train 300 Women Entrepreneurs living in Kaduna State. &nbsp;EmpowerHer Business Initiative is envisioned to train one million women entrepreneurs on Women in Digital Business; EmpowerHer is a free entrepreneurship program designed to help women grow their businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The EmpowerHer training will take place over a period of 3 months, including a month of guided formal training and two months of mentorship and business linkages, culminating in a graduation ceremony, pitch and incubation. Successful participants will gain access to top-notch resources from ILO and Talents Hive as well as further training opportunities at Talents Hive in the Kaduna State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants will increase their knowledge and understanding of business, marketing, digitization, digitalization, and operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They will meet and network with like-minded women to share best practices, with the support of a team of qualified program staff facilitators and mentors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Program Goals<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide resources for women to engage in U.S.-style online education with guided facilitation and localization from local women business leaders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Foster networks that support participants\u2019 access to peer-to-peer mentorship, business partners, and scaling opportunities with businesses in the region and in the United States.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide access to a wide range of opportunities tailored to women\u2019s economic empowerment to expand the effects of participation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Opportunity<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>FOUNDATIONS PROGRAMME ON DIGITAL SKILLS<br><\/strong><br>The foundations program provides you with the basic skills and insights for digital entrepreneurship. You will explore a range of digital business solutions and evaluate their relevance and effectiveness for your enterprise. The foundations program focuses on building an on-line presence and commercializing on-line, covering also the broader impacts of digital transformation on people and business processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WHAT WILL I LEARN?<br><\/strong><br><strong>Why digitalize:<\/strong>&nbsp;Learn why it is important for your business to digitalize and get to understand some of the key concepts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Building an online presence:<\/strong>&nbsp;Learn about strategies to embark on a digital journey by building an on-line presence, either through social media, through messengers or by creating a website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Selling online:<\/strong>&nbsp;Is e-commerce for you?
