This is an internship open to West African graduates who have completed or are yet to begin their country\u2019s mandatory national youth service. YLP helps to develop exceptional young local African talent into real leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Undergraduate or master\u2019s degree<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Less than 3 years of work experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Completed or is about to begin national youth service<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Outstanding record of academic achievement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven record of leadership through extracurricular activities and\/or in a work setting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in English, both verbally and in writing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Details<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ll work in teams of typically 3-5 consultants, playing an active role in all aspects of the client engagement.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This includes gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and developing and communicating recommendations. You\u2019ll also have the opportunity to present results to clients and implement recommendations in collaboration with client team members. You\u2019ll gain new skills and build on the strengths you bring to McKinsey.
