Road to Growth equips women entrepreneurs in low and middle-income countries with business skills, financial literacy, networks, and confidence so they can achieve business growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program aims to support 40 women Entrepreneurs running businesses in Ogun State to break through barriers and support them to succeed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enterprise Training and Capacity Building<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Growth and Advisory Support<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Financial Literacy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access to Free Business Support Tools and Networks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Membership in FATE Alumni Network<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The curriculum is designed to offer an all-inclusive set of courses that address all the key tools needed in growing and running an effective business. At the end of the training, participants will gain the necessary Knowledge, skills, attitudes, and confidence to grow their businesses and apply for relevant financial services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Curriculum is intensive and includes the following key learning objectives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What are business operational objectives<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Key components of a business Growth Plan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Market segmentation and market analysis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Key considerations in forecasting sales<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Factors that affect the cash flow of a business<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What are financial statements and their importance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The different types of financial services that may be relevant, when to consider borrowing, and what the application process consists of<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How financial institutions analyze a business\u2019s financial statements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility<\/strong> <strong>Criteria:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Own at least 50% of the business in Nigeria<br>2. Have a business that has generated profit for at least 2 years<br>3. Have 3-49 employees<br>4. Be able to read and write<br>5. Have Basic computer literacy<br>6. Be able to read and write English<br>7. Have had no previous access to loans and have a need for additional investment<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Course Structure<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Road to Growth program is a&nbsp; 7-week hybrid Programme, that will take place 8-10 hours per week on the Learning Management System (LMS), Virtual Class sessions, WhatsApp Group sessions, and In-person sessions, using innovative classroom management tools. Lectures will be delivered in modules that afford participants the flexibility of time to run their businesses, while they participate in the program. The core part of the program will include the following modules:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Connections (Intro to Road to Growth)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Context (Knowing Your Market)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communication (Digital Marketing)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Capacity (Knowing Your Business)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Capital (About Financing)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Character (Financial Relationships)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Confidence (Applying for Financing)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As the classes progress, participants will be developing their growth plans and make immediate improvements in their respective businesses where&nbsp;necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Applications Process<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stage I:<\/strong>&nbsp;Interested applicants can apply using the Apply Button on our Application Platform (SOAR)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stage II<\/strong>: Following a review of all received applications, candidates will be shortlisted for a 10-minute phone\/video interview after which 40 applicants will be selected for Ogun cohort of the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through the partnership with and the support of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/cherieblairfoundation.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cherie Blair Foundation<\/a>&nbsp;for Women and other partners, the program is FREE to all entrepreneurs who successfully scale through the two application stages. This scholarship support covers all direct course fees including course materials, books, data support, and post program support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a Hybrid training, and it is expected that each entrepreneur enrolled for the program must be from the location\/state where you have applied for the program.
