{"id":23693,"date":"2024-08-29T15:50:18","date_gmt":"2024-08-29T15:50:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=23693"},"modified":"2024-08-29T15:50:21","modified_gmt":"2024-08-29T15:50:21","slug":"sg-holdings-undergraduate-scholarship-for-nigerians","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/sg-holdings-undergraduate-scholarship-for-nigerians\/","title":{"rendered":"SG Holdings Undergraduate Scholarship for Nigerians"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The SG Holdings Undergraduate Scholarship seeks to financially support eligible Nigerian students studying across all tertiary institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The SG Holdings Foundation Scholarship Scheme is dedicated to supporting indigenes of the Ijemo Community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This Scheme provides financial assistance to students enrolled in public universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education across Nigeria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Scholarship Scheme will be conducted annually during the third quarter of each year (July to September).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility\u00a0Criteria:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00a0Applicants must be a native of IJEMO in Abeokuta, Ogun State or must have lived in IJEMO not less than 15 years<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be a Student of a Public University, Polytechnic College of Education<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For Freshers: Applicants must have gained admission through JAMB and paid the required Acceptance Fee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For returning Students: Those applying from 200 Level onward must provide their CGPA, duly signed and certified by the Dean of the Faculty or HOD.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Only students with a CGPA of at least Second Class lower (Universities), Lower Credit (Polytechnics), or Credit (Colleges of Education) will be eligible for this Scholarship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>University \u2013\u00a0<strong>N150,000 per annum<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Polytechnics \u2013\u00a0<strong>N125,000 per annum<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>College of Education \u2013\u00a0<strong>N100,000 per annum<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Required Documents<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A one-page document detailing your academic background, the purpose of applying for the scholarship, and how you will add value to the Community after graduation.
