These include; tuition, living stipends, accommodation, travel costs, health insurance, and laptops (for use for the duration of the program).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be citizens of the Middle East and North Africa.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Tomorrow\u2019s Leaders Undergraduate Program accepts applications from current high school students or those who graduated in 2024.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can apply if your family has a refugee status and are from the eligible countries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Generally, applicants should have an 80% or better across their academic history.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tomorrow\u2019s Leaders applicants are evaluated for selection by several criteria, including academic history, English language proficiency, leadership potential, and socioeconomic disadvantage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students can find more information about the programs of study available at each of the participating universities\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tomorrowsleadersprogram.org\/what-can-i-study\/\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tuition and enrollment fees (for a maximum period of four academic years for undergraduate students and two academic years for graduate students)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University health insurance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Entrance visa and residency permit fees<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Student housing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monthly living stipend when participating in TL activities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Textbook allowance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Laptop (for use for the duration of the program)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two round-trip tickets to home country, territory, or place of residence per year<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Civic leadership and career-oriented workshops<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Internship opportunities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Faculty mentorship and guidance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An opportunity to study at a university in the United States (undergraduate students only)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An opportunity to participate in graduate assistantships or research assistantships (graduate students only)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Required Documents<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All applicable sections of the application<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Personal statement that allows the student to select one of three prompts to complete 500 words or upload a 5- to 6-minute video<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Social Responsibility Essay, with a 500-word limit response<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Official transcripts:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If applying for the Undergraduate program, transcripts for grades 10 and 11 (and 12 when available) of your secondary school and your graduation certificate\/diploma. An unofficial translation of these documents should be provided if they are not in English.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If applying for the Graduate program transcripts from your undergraduate studies and graduation certificate\/degree. An unofficial translation of these documents should be provided if they are not in English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Documentation of extracurricular and\/or volunteer activities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/production-embark.s3.amazonaws.com\/hosted-documents\/tomorrowsleadersprogram\/TLR_Financial_Statement.pdf\">Tomorrow\u2019s Leaders Application Financial Statement<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Results of a brief online English assessment completed when filling out the application. Please use the same email address to register for the English exam as you use for your Tomorrow\u2019s Leaders log in.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two recommendations will be required. Recommenders will be sent requests automatically through the application system.
