{"id":23836,"date":"2024-09-04T14:46:05","date_gmt":"2024-09-04T14:46:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=23836"},"modified":"2024-09-04T14:46:09","modified_gmt":"2024-09-04T14:46:09","slug":"european-union-create-green-africa-scholarship-2025-fully-funded","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/european-union-create-green-africa-scholarship-2025-fully-funded\/","title":{"rendered":"European Union CREATE Green Africa Scholarship 2025 (Fully Funded)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The European Union (EU), under its Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme, has provided funding to support graduate students in African universities under the\u00a0CREATE Green Africa Scholarship\u00a0project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CREATE Green Africa Scholarship will cover costs such as tuition fees, 1230 \u20ac monthly stipends, Application fees, Student Union, Accommodation, Student ID, and travel costs in line with the MOU signed by the partner institutions and with the EU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The scholarships are open to all qualified African candidates residing in Africa at the time of application to be trained in the host institutions for respective programs in Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Ghana, Nigeria and South Africa.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Note:\u00a0<\/strong>Applicants are only allowed to apply to study in an institution outside of their home country. Female and disadvantaged\/vulnerable candidates are encouraged to apply. All applications will be handled confidentially.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The scholarship includes a subsistence allowance of 1230 \u20ac per month for PhD candidates and 890 \u20ac for M.Sc. candidates. This will cover research cost, travel, travel insurance, subsistence and accommodation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Insurance:&nbsp;During the study, insurance coverage (accident, travel, health) will be provided for the duration of the Scholarship within the limits of the grant provisions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tuition fees and research contribution:&nbsp;The Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scholarship Scheme,&nbsp;CREATE-GreenAfrica&nbsp;will cover costs such as tuition fee, Application fee, Student Union, Registration, Caution Money, Student ID and Quality assurance fee in line with the MOU signed by the partner institutions and with EU.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Selection Criteria<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The coordinating institution will receive applications and forward them to the target host university, which will subsequently shortlist the candidates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The coordinator will receive the compilation of shortlisted candidates from the host institution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The CREATE-GreenAfrica selection committee will review the shortlisted candidates and carry out the selection of candidates to receive scholarships (based on eligibility, authenticity of academic documents and qualification for admission by the target host university).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communication of results by the coordinator to the applicants, scholarship awardees and host institutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create-GreenAfrica selection committee may go further review, if there is any, appeal regarding the selection process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Signing of the contracts between the CREATE-GreenAfrica and the scholarship beneficiaries and subsequent sending of the signed contracts to the host universities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The hosting university will facilitate the travel and settling in\/out of the awardees to\/from the respective university and subsequently assign an academic mentor to assist them in successfully completing their study.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The awarded candidates will be required to bear the air ticket cost to the hosting institution and will be reimbursed the air ticket cost and any direct cost they incur during the admission process after arrival to the hosting institution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to Apply?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click on the button below to visit the scholarship webpage<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All interested applicants should download the application form, fill it and together with certificates and transcripts of results and other required documents and submit through email.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The application for scholarship should be sent to the project coordinating office (email:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:ira@udsm.ac.tz\">ira@udsm.ac.tz<\/a>).\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Admission criteria and procedure can be found at the hosting university website and scholarship application form is available at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/create-greenafrica.udsm.ac.tz\/scholarships\/application-for-scholarships\">https:\/\/create-greenafrica.udsm.ac.tz\/scholarships\/application-for-scholarships<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In order to facilitate and fasten the mobility process, each applicant is advised to apply concurrently to the host University for admission.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Admission process varies between hosting universities during scholarship application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/create-greenafrica.udsm.ac.tz\/scholarships\">CLICK HERE TO APPLY<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Deadline: <\/strong>September 6, 2024<a href=\"https:\/\/api.whatsapp.com\/send?text=APPLY%20FOR%20THIS%20SCHOLARSHIP%20https:\/\/www.scholarshipregion.com\/create-green-africa-scholarship\/\"><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The European Union (EU), under its Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme, has provided funding to support graduate students in African universities<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":234,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"colormag_page_container_layout":"default_layout","colormag_page_sidebar_layout":"default_layout","footnotes":""},"categories":[47],"tags":[55,192,60,9,57,64,8],"class_list":["post-23836","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-scholarship","tag-education","tag-european-union","tag-finance","tag-scholarship","tag-school-fees","tag-student","tag-university"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
