{"id":23877,"date":"2024-09-05T15:09:38","date_gmt":"2024-09-05T15:09:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=23877"},"modified":"2024-09-05T15:09:40","modified_gmt":"2024-09-05T15:09:40","slug":"history-of-edo-state-college-of-education-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/history-of-edo-state-college-of-education-2\/","title":{"rendered":"History of Edo State College of Education"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap\">The new Edo State College of Education is founded on the desire to achieve educational reforms in the State in line with the transformation agenda of the present administration under the leadership of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The College was established under the enabling instrument otherwise known as Edo State College of Education (EdoCOE) Law, 2020.&nbsp; The new College is a Multi-Campus System, with campuses in the three (3) senatorial districts of Edo State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Main Campus is at Igueben whilst other Campuses are situated at Abudu and Afuze respectively.&nbsp; The following programmes are available under the three (3) campuses as classified below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Igueben Main Campus:- \u00a0 Schools of Sciences, Vocational and Technical\u00a0\u00a0 Education;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Abudu Campus:- Schools of Early Childhood Care Education and Primary Education, Languages, Education, Arts and Social Sciences;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Afuze Campus:- Schools of Physical &amp; Health Education and Special Needs Education.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Source: edocoe.edu.ng<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The new Edo State College of Education is founded on the desire to achieve educational reforms in the State in<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":23878,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"colormag_page_container_layout":"default_layout","colormag_page_sidebar_layout":"default_layout","footnotes":""},"categories":[49],"tags":[206,55,64],"class_list":["post-23877","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-education","tag-edo-state-coe","tag-education","tag-student"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
