Applications will be considered for the following two scholarship opportunities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>AGCAE Doctoral Scholarships: Full-time doctoral scholarships valued at R250,000 per year for three years.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>AGCAE Masters Scholarships: Full-time masters scholarships valued at R150 000 per year for two years.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong>:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A candidate must meet the minimum criteria for admission to a PhD program at Stellenbosch University. This requires a master\u2019s degree in a relevant discipline.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A candidate must meet the minimum criteria for admission to a master\u2019s program at Stellenbosch University. This requires an honors degree in a relevant discipline.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The scholarships are open to South African citizens and African foreign nationals. Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged South African and African foreign national citizens.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates must have achieved a minimum mark of o 70% aggregate in their master\u2019s programs to be eligible for the AGCAE Doctoral Scholarships. o 70% aggregate in their honors programs to be eligible for the AGCAE Master\u2019s Scholarships.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Only applications in one of the AGCAE\u2019s research themes will be considered.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Only Candidates who would have applied for the relevant PhD and masters program will be shortlisted<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to Apply?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Apply for the relevant PhD (http:\/\/www.sun.ac.za\/english\/faculty\/economy\/spl\/degreeprogrammes\/phd-programme) or master\u2019s (http:\/\/www.sun.ac.za\/english\/pgstudies\/Pages\/EMS\/Public-Development-Management.aspx) program in the Faculty of Economic &amp; Management Sciences (EMS)\u2019 School of Public Leadership (SPL) via the Stellenbosch University Central Applicant portal link: https:\/\/student.sun.ac.za\/signup\/.
