Applications are now open for the\u00a02025 Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Doctoral Scholarships. The Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Scholarship brings together remarkable individuals from various disciplines and backgrounds with a shared interest in making Canada and the world a better place into a life-changing community. It\u2019s about more than money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eligibility Requirements:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

1. You must be registered or accepted into a full-time doctoral program in year one or two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Your field of study is broadly related to the humanities and social sciences or human sciences and is directly relevant to the future of Canada. (Read more details)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Your doctoral work must relate to at least one of the Foundation\u2019s four general themes: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

i. Human Rights and Dignity, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

ii. Responsible Citizenship, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

iii. Canada and the World, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

iv. People and their Natural Environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. You must be a Canadian citizen studying at a Canadian or foreign institution. Or you are a permanent resident of Canada or a foreign national enrolled in a doctoral program at a Canadian institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Apply?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  1. Register for an account\u00a0<\/strong>
    When the competition opens, register on the Foundation\u2019s application\u00a0portal<\/strong><\/a>.
    Do not create a new account if you have previously applied for the Trudeau Foundation Scholarships.\u00a0 Enter the email that you previously used and select \u201cForgot password.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Fill out the application<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Respond to the questions<\/strong>
    After completing your registration, respond to the questions to create your application for the 2025 Scholarship Competition.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
