University of Toronto Mastercard Scholarships in Canada For African Students | Fully Funded"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>University of Toronto Mastercard Scholarships is a fully funded scholarship program for graduate studies at Canada\u2019s leading institution of learning, discovery, and knowledge creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prospective scholars will receive full funding that covers the costs of tuition, accommodation, living stipend, laptop, meals, and travel\u00a0 and also develop their capacity and networks to engage in diverse healthcare professions and healthcare ecosystems in Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility\u00a0Criteria:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>be a resident and\u00a0a graduating high school student\u00a0of a country within Sub-Saharan Africa;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>demonstrate financial need correspondent to that of the lowest two quintiles of\u00a0your country;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>have very strong academic results within\u00a0your school system;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>have a record of leadership and extracurricular involvement;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>maintain a strong desire to return to Africa to assist and work towards enhanced regional socioeconomic development;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>be graduating from a recognized secondary school, or have completed the\u00a0necessary academic requirements; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>fulfill the necessary English requirements (dependent on country);<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Duration and Reward<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>full financial assistance for tuition,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>travel expenses to Canada (including obtaining a passport, visa application fees),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>housing, course materials, health insurance, laptop, food, books, and other expenses for the duration of their graduate degrees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Areas of Study<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2025\/2026, we will be accepting applications to one of the following areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a
