Greenberg World Fellows Program is a four-month, full-time residential program based out of Yale\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/jackson.yale.edu\/international-leadership-center\/\">International Leadership Center<\/a>&nbsp;and housed within the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/jackson.yale.edu\/\">Jackson School of Global Affairs<\/a>. The Program runs annually from mid-August to mid-December.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Program provides World Fellows the opportunity to expand their vision, learn from each other, and grow personally and professionally.&nbsp;World Fellows contribute to Yale\u2019s intellectual life, give talks and participate on panels, collaborate with peers, audit classes, and mentor students. Each year, the Program selects a diverse cohort of World Fellows to spend four months together in residence at Yale University to grow intellectually, share knowledge, strengthen skills and expand networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>World Fellows are people of character, integrity, energy and talent. They are dynamic, creative, disruptive and innovative. They are selfless leaders who serve, inspire and motivate others. They have demonstrated impact, they are on the rise in their careers, and they are ambitious to grow to their full potential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Applicants should be between<\/strong>\u00a0five and twenty-five years into their professional careers, with demonstrated and significant accomplishments at a regional, national, or international level.\u00a0The average age of a World Fellow is 39, though there is no minimum or maximum age limit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Applicants must be citizens of a country other than the United States.<\/strong>\u00a0While applicants who hold dual citizenship with the United States are eligible, strong preference is given to candidates whose work is focused outside the United States.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Applicants must be fluent in English.<\/strong>\u00a0An excellent command of the English language is essential to successfully participating in the program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>World Fellows are required to be in residence at Yale University in New Haven<\/strong>\u00a0for the entirety of the program which runs from mid-August through mid-December.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A taxable stipend to cover the costs of living in New Haven<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A modest, furnished one, or two-bedroom apartment for the duration of the program<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Medical insurance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Round-trip travel from home country<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WEEKLY SEMINARS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Good Society.\u00a0<\/strong>World Fellows present to each other their vision for making the world a better place, what they do professionally, and how they contribute to building the \u2018good society.\u2019<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Salon.<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>World Fellows host distinguished guests for discussions on key topics, expanding their knowledge and challenging their views.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Personal Development<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>World Fellows receive individual and group coaching<\/strong>\u00a0and skills development training. World Fellows can audit many of the 2,000+ courses offered at Yale, work on individual or collaborative projects, and conduct independent research.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Hosting Events<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>World Fellows give talks and participate on panels<\/strong>\u00a0across Yale, sharing their knowledge and expertise with students and faculty. Fellows are a resource to the University and are often in high demand on campus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mentoring Students<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>World Fellows mentor Yale students<\/strong>\u00a0who apply to be their liaisons. The student liaisons assist World Fellows in putting on events and ensure that they are fully immersed in life at Yale.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Networking<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Fellows expand their global network<\/strong>\u00a0by connecting with World Fellows in their cohort and with other Fellows spread throughout the world.
