{"id":25308,"date":"2024-10-31T16:29:31","date_gmt":"2024-10-31T16:29:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=25308"},"modified":"2024-10-31T16:29:34","modified_gmt":"2024-10-31T16:29:34","slug":"2024-yali-west-africa-emerging-leaders-program-cohort-52-fully-funded","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/2024-yali-west-africa-emerging-leaders-program-cohort-52-fully-funded\/","title":{"rendered":"2024 YALI West Africa Emerging Leaders Program (Cohort 52) | Fully Funded"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>YALI West Africa Emerging Leaders Program \u2013 The Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) was launched by the United States Government as a signature effort to invest in the next generation of African leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are selected to participate in the YALI West Africa Emerging Leaders Program<strong>,<\/strong>&nbsp;all expenses related to travel, visa, housing, and meals, will be covered by the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Are 18 to 35 years of age at the time of application submission,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Are citizens and residents of one of the following countries: Ghana, Nigeria, Togo, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Liberia, Sierra \u00a0 \u00a0 Leone, The Gambia and Burkina Faso.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the U.S.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Are eligible to receive any necessary visa to Ghana, and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Are proficient in reading, writing, listening and speaking English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Duration and Reward<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The YALI West Africa Emerging Leaders Program will teach young African leaders about modern leadership over a period of 17 weeks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The program will be broken down into four phases \u2013 a 5 week coursework phase delivered in-person or online and the remaining 12 weeks distributed equally among a mentorship program, internship or community service, and a report writing period.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At the end of the program participants will be awarded with certificates and become members of the prestigious YALI Alumni<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participants will be taken through various forms of leadership training to prepare them for leadership roles in their various organizations, communities and countries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Duration and Reward<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The YALI West Africa Emerging Leaders Program will teach young African leaders about modern leadership over a period of 17 weeks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The program will be broken down into four phases \u2013 a 5 week coursework phase delivered in-person or online and the remaining 12 weeks distributed equally among a mentorship program, internship or community service, and a report writing period.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At the end of the program participants will be awarded with certificates and become members of the prestigious YALI Alumni<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participants will be taken through various forms of leadership training to prepare them for leadership roles in their various organizations, communities and countries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Note<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Selection for participation in the YALI Regional Leadership Center West Africa will be conducted as a merit-based, open competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All eligible applications will be reviewed by a selection panel.
