The Governing Council of Federal Polytechnic Oko has at its emergency meeting held on the 23rd of June, 2022 gave approval to the appointment of Mr. Umeozor Anthony Ogochukwu as the new substantive Registrar of the Polytechnic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to reports, the selection board committee of the Council had earlier conducted interview for the position of Registrar and forwarded their recommendations to the Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr. Umeozor Anthony who hails from Uga in Anambra State has been a Deputy Registrar in the Polytechnic for 15 years and he has held positions at different capacities in the Polytechnic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Council Chairman, Mallam Kale Kawu expressed his satisfaction at the process leading to the emergence of the Registrar. He commended the selection board committee for discharging their task with tact and dedication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mallam Kawu who described registry department as engine room of the polytechnic urged the new registrar to bring his wealth of experience to bear in his new assignment and add great value to the polytechnic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He further called for co-operation and support for the registrar from the Management and members of staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
