from&nbsp;<strong>first year&nbsp;<\/strong>students in the&nbsp;<strong>2024\/2025 academic session<\/strong>&nbsp;for the 2024 Undergraduate Scholarship Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The NLNG Undergraduate Scholarship initiative is designed to support exceptional first-year students (in 2024\/2025 academic session) in Nigerian Universities, equipping them with the resources to excel academically and contribute to national development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NLNG is committed to fostering an inclusive scholarship programme and encourages applications from all eligible students, including&nbsp;<strong>Persons Living with Disabilities (PLWDs).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Must be a citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and currently residing in the country.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be currently enrolled as a full-time first year student in 2024\/2025 academic session in an undergraduate programme at an accredited Nigerian federal or state-owned university.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must possess at least five O-Level credits including Mathematics and English, in WASC, SSCE or NECO in ONE sitting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be between\u00a0<strong>18 and 25 years old\u00a0<\/strong>at the time of application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship, bursary, or grant from any other organization.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must NOT be a spouse, child, ward, or direct relation of staff of NLNG.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Additionally, applicants from Host Communities;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Must be a citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria\u00a0and an indigene of any of the NLNG\u2019s Host Communities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must provide a valid identification letter from the applicable host community and Local Government Council.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The NLNG Undergraduate Scholarship offers a sum of N300,000 per year to all selected candidates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Required Documents<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the following documents;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Complete Application Form<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Passport photograph with white background not more than 3 months old (450px by 450px not more than 200kb)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>O-Level and UTME results<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University and JAMB Admission letter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University student ID card<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>National Population Commission Issued Birth certificate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Local Government Area (LGA) letter of identification<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>National ID Number (NIN) Slip<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For Students from Host Communities;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Local Government Area (LGA) letter of identification<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete academic transcripts from 100 level to the most recent academic year, signed and stamped by the university\u2019s registry, exams unit, or the appropriate authority.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Community letter of identification signed by a Community Development Committee (CDC) Chairman or paramount ruler\/king.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Application Process<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You are to apply for the NLNG Undergraduate Scholarship using your registered Email address and Mobile number.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure the documents are named according to what they represent to avoid mixing up documents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure you attach the appropriate documents when asked to upload<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Click on \u201cRegister\u201d to create an account using your email address.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proceed to your email box to activate your account<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter your registered email and password to upload your information.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter your personal information, educational information, other information and upload required scanned documents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure the name used in applications matches the names on all documentation in same order.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure you view all documents after uploading, to eliminate errors during uploading.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When asked to upload photo, upload a pass-port photograph with a white background.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recheck application information to avoid errors Click on\u00a0<a
