Prestigious Erasmus Mundus scholarships are available for well qualified applicants to the Erasmus Mundus International Master in Global Markets, Local Creativities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Details<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Erasmus Mundus scholarships can be offered to students from any region of the world; however, in order to ensure geographical balance, no more than 6 scholarships per nationality will be awarded over the four editions, which is 10% of the total number (60) of regular scholarships available during the project implementation (4 editions).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the 60 \u2018regular\u2019 scholarships, we also have funding to award up to 30 additional scholarships over the four editions, which are targeted at certain regions. Note: the geographical rule of 10% stated above is not applicable to the additional, targeted scholarships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The targeted regions for the 30 additional scholarships, as specified by the European Commission, are: Regions 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11. These scholarships are financed by the EU\u2019s external action instruments.&nbsp;For a full list of countries in each region, see the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/erasmus-plus.ec.europa.eu\/sites\/default\/files\/2022-11\/Erasmus%2BProgramme%20Guide2023_en.pdf\">Erasmus+ Programme Guide<\/a>&nbsp;(pages 34-35).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Value<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Erasmus Mundus Scholarship includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Full coverage of tuition fees, including deposit (in collaboration with the GLOCAL consortium)*<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gla.ac.uk\/myglasgow\/insurance\/travelinsurance\/erasmusmundustravelinsurance\/#d.en.757105\">Full insurance coverage<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An optional contribution to student travel and installation costs (intended to assist with practical costs such as visas, residence permits, temporary accommodation etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A monthly subsistence allowance for the entire duration of the EMJM study programme<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>* A portion of the tuition fee is covered via the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship. The remaining amount is covered by the GLOCAL consortium. Scholarship recipients are not liable for any tuition fees.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Scholarship Payment<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Successful applicants can choose to receive their scholarship payments in one of two ways. Students can choose which option to follow, and will be able to indicate this in pre-arrival Welcome Packs once the scholarship has been accepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Option One<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Three advance payments of \u20ac1000 to assist with visa, travel, and installation costs, paid at three specific times:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u20ac1000 paid to their exiting bank account in August before the start of the first semester<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u20ac1000 paid in May 2026 (end of Year 1)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u20ac1000 paid in September 2026 (start of Year 2)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These payments will be deducted from the student\u2019s overall scholarship award and will result in a monthly subsistence payment of \u20ac1275 every month over the 2 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Option Two<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u20ac1400 per month over the two years of the programme, without travel\/installation payment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility and How to Apply<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To be eligible for a scholarship, you must first have a conditional or unconditional offer from the University of Glasgow. The deadline for application for the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship is 12 January 2025. Applicants must submit all required documents, as outlined in the application form, by the application deadline. If your offer status is \u2018holding for documents\u2019 at the scholarship application deadline, then you will not be considered for a scholarship. In addition, applicants must not have previously received an EMJM scholarship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After this deadline, the GLOCAL consortium will review and rank all scholarship applications, with scholarships being offered to top-ranking applicants. A reserve list will be kept, based on ranking, and the first eligible reserve candidate will be contacted should an original scholarship awardee withdraw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Results will be announced on 7 April 2025.
