The team oversees the implementation of UNESO\u2019s digital strategy, with the delivery of<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(1) more integrated and properly codified project and knowledge management in support of programme delivery;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(2) the provision of a resilient IT infrastructure, and best-in-class service management to enable effective programme delivery; and<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(3) the provision of strengthened cyber security and digital risk management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DBS is seeking highly motivated individuals graduate\/postgraduate students or recent graduates or postgraduates to assist DBS in its mission. Interns will be exposed to the work of the UNESCO and will provide DBS with qualified and specialized assistance in the various projects of the Bureau, under the supervision and direction of DBS\u2019 management team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Tasks:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Operations, Helpdesk, Network, Server and Cloud:<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cybersecurity, Compliance, AI :<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Development, Architecture, Engineering<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Age<\/strong>:&nbsp;You must be at least 20 years old to apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Academic qualifications:&nbsp;<\/strong>At the time of your application to the internship programme:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You are currently enrolled in a graduate programme (Master\u2019s degree, PhD, or equivalent, second university degree or higher).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have recently graduated with a Master\u2019s degree or PhD (or second degree as defined above), 12 months prior to the start of the internship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that candidates who have completed their full-time bachelor\u2019s degree but are not enrolled in a graduate programme are not eligible to apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants in secretarial\/assistant or technical\/professional assignments must be enrolled in a secretarial school or in a specialized technical\/professional institution, and must have reached the last year of their studies, or have recently graduated (within the last 12 months) from their school or institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Languages:&nbsp;<\/strong>You should have an excellent command, both written and spoken, of English or French. A working knowledge of the other language (English or French) is an asset, and may be required for internships in secretarial and assistantship assignments at the Headquarters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Computer skills<\/strong>: You must have an excellent knowledge of computer systems and office-related software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Team player:&nbsp;<\/strong>You should be able to work well in a team and adapt to an international working environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Communication skills:<\/strong>You should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Benefits and Entitlements:&nbsp;<\/strong>Interns are entitled to 2.5 days of leave per month during their internship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Selection Procedure:&nbsp;<\/strong>The UNESCO Internships&nbsp;Programme&nbsp;is open in January and July each year. Candidates&nbsp;shall&nbsp;apply to the vacancy&nbsp;that matches their personal expertise and domain. Candidates who successfully applied to the vacancy&nbsp;will stay in the intern talent pool and&nbsp;will be further&nbsp;assessed and selected&nbsp;by relevant hiring managers.&nbsp;&nbsp;The candidature will be valid for 6 months.&nbsp;Candidates who have been selected will be contacted directly by the relevant hiring manager.&nbsp;Those who were not selected for an internship in the current cycle will need to reapply to the internship&nbsp;programme&nbsp;when the new internship vacancies are released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Keep in mind:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Have your motivation letter and r\u00e9sum\u00e9 ready before filling out the application form. You only have one hour to finish the process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make sure your contact details will be valid in next 6 months.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can only use either English or French in applying.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please provide an unofficial French or English translation of your documents if they are not in these languages.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>UNESCO does not remunerate interns. There is no compensation, financial or otherwise for internship assignments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Even if you are eligible, there is no guarantee of placement. We receive more applications from qualified candidates than we can place.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your application will be further accessed by UNESCO managers around the world and will stay in our internship portal for a period of six months.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We do not respond to each and every candidate. If selected, you will be directly contacted by the manager.
