{"id":26697,"date":"2025-01-14T09:00:28","date_gmt":"2025-01-14T09:00:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=26697"},"modified":"2025-01-14T09:00:32","modified_gmt":"2025-01-14T09:00:32","slug":"2025-joint-japan-world-bank-scholarship-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/2025-joint-japan-world-bank-scholarship-program\/","title":{"rendered":"2025 Joint Japan\/World Bank Scholarship Program\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Joint Japan\/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program\u00a0is open to citizens of certain developing countries with relevant professional experience and a history of supporting their countries\u2019 development efforts who are applying to a master degree program in a development-related topic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The World Bank Scholarship Program covers the full amount of tuition, and also provides a monthly stipend, accommodation, and travel costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility\u00a0Criteria:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be a national of a World Bank member developing country;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Not hold dual citizenship of any developed country;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be in good health;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hold a Bachelor\u2019s (or equivalent) degree earned at least 3 years prior to the Application Deadline date;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have 3 years or more of recent development-related work experience after earning a Bachelor\u2019s (or equivalent) degree;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be employed in development-related work in a paid full- time position at the time of submitting the scholarship application. Have at least 3 years of paid development-related employment since earning a Bachelor\u2019s degree (or equivalent university degree) and acquired within the past 6 years from the date of the Application Deadline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Economy class air travel between your home country and the host university at the start of your study program and immediately following the end of the scholarship period. In addition to the two-way air travel, scholars will receive a US $500 travel allowance for each trip;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tuition for your graduate program and the cost of basic medical insurance obtained through the university.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>While on campus during the scholarship period, a monthly subsistence allowance to cover all living expenses (accommodations, food, etc., including books).
