{"id":26833,"date":"2025-01-17T16:21:38","date_gmt":"2025-01-17T16:21:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=26833"},"modified":"2025-01-17T16:21:41","modified_gmt":"2025-01-17T16:21:41","slug":"2025-university-of-newcastle-excellence-scholarship-in-australia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/2025-university-of-newcastle-excellence-scholarship-in-australia\/","title":{"rendered":"2025 University of Newcastle Excellence Scholarship in Australia"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The 2024 University of Newcastle Excellence Scholarships are now open for interested and qualified students willing to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Australia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The scholarship is an award of $48,000 payable over tuition for four (4) academic years for selected students making the University of Newcastle one of the more affordable options to study in Australia..<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Scholarships will automatically be awarded to students who have received an offer to study in an eligible program and will commence studying with the University of Newcastle in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be an International full-fee paying student.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be commencing study in an eligible CRICOS-registered undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree priority program at the university (see above for eligible programs).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Not be the beneficiary of a separate University scholarship unless prior approval for special dispensation has been obtained from the university.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be able to meet the financial obligations of a full fee-paying international student specified by the Australian Government. Evidence of this ability must be provided if requested by the university.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Duration and Reward<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The annual scholarship value AUD $6000.
