{"id":26840,"date":"2025-01-20T15:44:09","date_gmt":"2025-01-20T15:44:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=26840"},"modified":"2025-01-20T15:44:12","modified_gmt":"2025-01-20T15:44:12","slug":"2025-university-college-london-ucl-global-masters-scholarship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/2025-university-college-london-ucl-global-masters-scholarship\/","title":{"rendered":"2025 University College London \u2013 UCL Global Masters Scholarship"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The 2025 UCL Global Masters Scholarship aims to enable and encourage international students from lower-income backgrounds to pursue full-time Master\u2019s degree studies at the University College London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The University College London Global Scholarship is a \u00a315,000 opportunity offered to prospective international students seeking postgraduate admission to study at the United Kingdom\u2019s capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>be\u00a0eligible to pay the Overseas fee rate;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>come from a lower income background*;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>AND have submitted a complete\u00a0admission application (including the submission of references) for\u00a0a full-time Master\u2019s degree at UCL in 2024\/25.\u00a0\u00a0<strong>Please note<\/strong>: Distance-learning options are not eligible for this fund; students must be coming to the UK to attend UCL in person<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The value of the bursary is \u00a315,000.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The scholarship is tenable for one year only unless the full-time programme is 2yrs in length.\u00a0 In that case the scholarship will be paid 50% in each year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The UCL Global Masters Scholarship\u00a0may be held alongside other scholarships, studentships, awards, or bursaries.
