{"id":27042,"date":"2025-01-29T15:45:02","date_gmt":"2025-01-29T15:45:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=27042"},"modified":"2025-01-29T15:45:11","modified_gmt":"2025-01-29T15:45:11","slug":"2025-global-korea-scholarships-gks-for-international-students-fully-funded","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/2025-global-korea-scholarships-gks-for-international-students-fully-funded\/","title":{"rendered":"2025 Global Korea Scholarships (GKS) For International Students | Fully Funded"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In 2025, the Korean Government aims to offer fully funded Global Korea Scholarships to international students who wish to pursue graduate Master\u2019s and Doctoral degrees in Korea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2025 Global Korea Scholarship is aimed to provide international students with an opportunity to conduct advanced studies at higher educational institutions in Korea, to develop global leaders, and to strengthen Korea-friendly networks worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Global Korea Scholarships (GKS) will cover tuition fees, 900,000 living stipends per month, flight costs, and accommodation fees for every selected candidate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Korean Government Scholarship Program (KGSP) is an annual initiative offering international students the opportunity to pursue Bachelor, Masters, and PhD degrees at Korean Universities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2025, the Korean Government\u2019s Global Korea Scholarship program aims to grant full scholarships to international students from 156 countries. These scholarships are designed to support both undergraduate and graduate studies in Korea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants can put in for the GKS either through the University or Embassy tracks. The University track will admit 280 international students while the Embassy track will accept 87 students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Citizenship<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Candidates and their parents must hold non-Korean citizenship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Age<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>KGSP-G: under 40<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>KGSP-U: under 25<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Health<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Candidates must be physically and mentally healthy for their studies in Korea.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Degree Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>KGSP-G: Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>KGSP-U: High school diploma<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Grades<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The cumulative grade point average (CGPA) must be 80% or higher; or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The CGPA must be 2.64\/ 4.0, 2.80\/ 4.3, 2.91\/ 4.5, or 3.23\/ 5.0 or higher.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Duration and Reward<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Flight<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tuition<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>$8196 Stipend\/Yr<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Medical Insurance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Settlement Allowance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Completion Grants<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How To Apply?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click the button below to proceed to the scholarship website.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Apply either to a Korean Embassy where they hold citizenship (embassy track) or directly to one of the designated universities (university track).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pay attention to the embassy or the university he or she is applying through.
