The funding is an added advantage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, $2,500 in equity-free grants and exclusive perks designed to help startups scale are up for grabs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selected founders will get to pitch to investors such as Ingressive Capital and compete for up to $10,000 in investment from the African Impact Initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Who Can Apply?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The competition is open to ambitious founders ready to take their startups to the next stage. While applications are open to all industries, special consideration will be given to women-led startups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Additional Perks<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>$25,000 in fee-free processing on Paystack<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One-year free Intercom Pro subscription (plus 50% off in year two)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Six months of free access to Notion with unlimited AI (over $6,000 in savings)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Up to $10,000 in AWS credits<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Six months of free PR services from Rene\u00e9 PR<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Less than three years old<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tech-enabled (beyond just a website)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Launched product with measurable traction (active users and\/or revenue)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Raised less than $1M in external funding<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High growth potential and scalability<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least one founder is available to pitch in person at the semi-finals and finals in Lagos, Nigeria or Nairobi, Kenya<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solves a challenge or addresses an opportunity within African markets<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least one founder committed full-time to the startup<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications are open to startups beyond Nigeria and Kenya, but they must address key challenges or opportunities in African markets.
