Through blogs, videos, podcasts, interactive data visualizations, and even art, we will work with feminist advocates to bring gender data to life \u2014working together to shift narratives, shape policies, and mobilize action for a more gender equal world.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Details<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the course of&nbsp;<strong>six months<\/strong>, (the program foresee fellows spending between 120-180 hours over 6 months) the Storytelling with Data Fellowship will take feminist advocates on a journey\u2014one that transforms raw gender data into compelling narratives that demand attention and action. The fellowship is&nbsp;<strong>structured into four key phases<\/strong>, each designed to guide fellows from&nbsp;<strong>data exploration to storytelling and dissemination.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Onboarding (April 1st)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Fellows will dive into the 2024 SDG Gender Index, unpacking regional trends and challenges while identifying key gender data stories in their local contexts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mentorship &amp; Training (April \u2013 May 2025)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Through hands-on workshops and one-on-one guidance, fellows will learn how to craft powerful narratives, visualize data, and tailor their stories for different audiences.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Storytelling Production (June \u2013 August 2025)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 With support from EM2030, fellows will bring their ideas to life\u2014creating blogs, videos, podcasts, infographics, and more.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dissemination &amp; Amplification (September 2025)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 The final phase focuses on finalizing high-quality storytelling products that will be disseminated on all EM2030 communication platforms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Each cohort will include\u00a0<strong>six fellows\u2014two from each region (LAC, Asia, and Africa).<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Audience<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The fellowship will engage a diverse group of stakeholders to maximize its impact. Based on EM2030\u2019s audience mapping, the key target groups include Primary Participants (Fellows)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Feminist storytellers, journalists, and data advocates from Latin America &amp; Carribean, Asia, and Africa (2 per region).<br>\u2022 Grassroots feminist organizations looking to integrate storytelling into their advocacy work.<br>\u2022 Gender equality influencers who can amplify Index insights in their communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>End Users of Fellowship Outputs<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Journalists and media professionals covering gender equality issues.<br>\u2022 Global and regional feminist organizations that can leverage storytelling for advocacy.<br>\u2022 Policymakers who need accessible data narratives to push for policy changes.<br>\u2022 Funders and donors interested in investing in feminist movements and gender data storytelling.<br>\u2022 General public and grassroots movements seeking data-informed narratives to support their activism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Stipend<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The stipend will be paid in\u00a0<strong>two instalments:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>50% at the start of the fellowship<\/strong>\u00a0after onboarding.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>50% upon successful submission of final outputs.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This stipend is intended to cover any costs related to the production of their storytelling pieces, such as tools, software, or other expenses.
