It will be held on&nbsp;May 19-20, 2025, featuring activities and engagements both at the World Bank Group headquarters in Washington DC and across various regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The mission of the Summit is to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Empower youth\u00a0to explore innovative solutions to development challenges;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Equip youth with the tools to create and participate in\u00a0impactful projects; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Foster dialogue\u00a0between youth, the World Bank Group, and other key global stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the theme \u201c<strong>New Horizons: Youth-Led&nbsp;<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.oecd.org\/en\/publications\/oslo-manual-2018_9789264304604-en.html\"><strong>Innovation<\/strong><\/a><strong>&nbsp;for a Livable Planet<\/strong>,\u201d this year\u2019s summit focuses on three transformative areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Creative Industries:<\/strong>&nbsp;Highlight the role of arts, media, and fashion in fostering employment, social and economic change, promoting sustainability, and preserving cultural heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Digital Transformation &amp; Data:<\/strong>&nbsp;Discover how youth leverage technology, including AI and big data, to drive economic growth, bridge the digital divide, and create a future-ready labor market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Climate Action &amp; Resilience:<\/strong>&nbsp;Explore innovative solutions for green technologies, smart cities, and sustainable agriculture, showcasing how young leaders can combat climate change while creating job opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The summit will focus on three fresh perspectives on technology: Digital Transformation &amp; Data, Climate Action &amp; Resilience, Empowering Change through Creative Industries.
