{"id":28056,"date":"2025-03-11T16:12:04","date_gmt":"2025-03-11T16:12:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=28056"},"modified":"2025-03-11T16:12:07","modified_gmt":"2025-03-11T16:12:07","slug":"canadian-international-development-scholarships-bcdi-2030-fully-funded","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/canadian-international-development-scholarships-bcdi-2030-fully-funded\/","title":{"rendered":"Canadian International Development Scholarships (BCDI 2030) | Fully Funded"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Government of Canada has announced the call for applications for the Canadian International Development Scholarship BCDI 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Canadian International Development Scholarship BCDI 2030 provides scholarships for students from 26 eligible countries to study in Canada, focusing on higher education, vocational, and technical training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Canadian International Development Scholarship is funded by Global Affairs Canada, and is tailored to the needs of partner countries and focuses on priority areas linked to the United Nations\u2019 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility\u00a0Criteria:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Eligibility for the BCDI 2030 program is not on an individual basis, but through a project partnership established between a Canadian higher education institution (HEI) and an HEI from one of the 26 eligible countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To be considered for the Canadian International Development Scholarship BCDI 2030, you must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be from one of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bcdi2030.ca\/about\/\">26 BCDI 2030 eligible countries<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meet the eligibility requirements of the Canadian higher education institution (HEI) and an HEI from one of the 26 eligible countries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Approximately 600 scholars from partner countries will receive study and training scholarships in Canada, with at least 51% of them being women.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The BCDI 2030 Scholars will acquire skills, knowledge and experience that will help them evolve in the job market and become agents of change in their communities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upon return, the scholars will contribute to the social and economic development of their countries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to Apply?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/bcdi2030.ca\/projects\/stream-1-scholarships-for-studies-in-canada\/\">Explore BDCI projects<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0and contact the resource persons identified for each of the Canadian scholarship projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Individuals cannot apply directly to the BCDI 2030 program.
