{"id":28087,"date":"2025-03-12T15:38:59","date_gmt":"2025-03-12T15:38:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=28087"},"modified":"2025-03-12T15:39:05","modified_gmt":"2025-03-12T15:39:05","slug":"2025-mtn-scholarship-for-undergraduates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/2025-mtn-scholarship-for-undergraduates\/","title":{"rendered":"2025 MTN Scholarship for Undergraduates"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>MTN Scholarship Scheme provides an annual platform for recognizing and rewarding dedicated, high performing students across Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every year, the MTN Foundation offers a N300,000 reward to undergraduate Nigerian students in universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Follow this post till the very end for a full insight into the details, eligibility requirements, benefits, and the stepwise process you will follow to successfully apply for the opportunity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00a0Requirements:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>MTN Science and Technology Scholarship (STS) and MTN Scholarship for Blind Students (SBS) is open to Nigerian students in Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MTN Science and Technology Scholarship (STS) is open to 300 level students while the MTN Scholarship for Blind Students (SBS) is open to 200 &amp; 300 level Blind students.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>However, for blind students studying Law, which is a 5 years course, only 300 level students can apply for the MTN Scholarship.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MTN will also award the top 10 UTME candidates with scholarships from their 100 level through to graduation upon meeting grade requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CGPA Requirements Include;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The MTN Science and Technology Scholarship (STS):\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>STEM Students in Public Universities, and Colleges of Education must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) score of 3.0\/4 or 3.5\/5 (second class upper credit)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>STEM Students in Public Polytechnics must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0 (upper credit) from the Ordinary National Diploma (OND) Program and must have secured admission into the Higher National Diploma (HND) Program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Direct Entry level STEM students must have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 (upper credit) from the Ordinary National Diploma (OND) program and must have secured admission into 300 level\/3rd year in a Public University.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MTN Scholarship for Blind Students (SBS):\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Blind Students in the Universities or Colleges of Education must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.5<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Blind Students in Public Polytechnics must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.0 from the Ordinary National Diploma (OND) Program and must have secured admission into the Higher National Diploma (HND) Program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Duration and Reward<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On annual basis, a minimum of 500 students are awarded Scholarships of \u20a6300, 000.00 (Three hundred thousand Naira) each to cover tuition, book allowances and living stipend for one academic year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under the first phase of the project, the MTNF Scholarship award was presented to 500 successful candidates in 2nd year of study in science &amp; technology related disciplines across 44 Federal &amp; State owned tertiary institutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How To Apply?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mtn.ng\/scholarships\/\">CLICK HERE TO APPLY<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Deadline: <\/strong>Not Specified<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MTN Scholarship Scheme provides an annual platform for recognizing and rewarding dedicated, high performing students across Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":5451,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"colormag_page_container_layout":"default_layout","colormag_page_sidebar_layout":"default_layout","footnotes":""},"categories":[43],"tags":[55,59,178,9,64],"class_list":["post-28087","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-entrepreneurship","tag-education","tag-entrepreneurship","tag-mtn","tag-scholarship","tag-student"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
