{"id":28339,"date":"2025-03-26T14:14:58","date_gmt":"2025-03-26T14:14:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=28339"},"modified":"2025-03-26T14:15:02","modified_gmt":"2025-03-26T14:15:02","slug":"call-for-applications-wto-young-professionals-program-2026-world-trade-organization","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/call-for-applications-wto-young-professionals-program-2026-world-trade-organization\/","title":{"rendered":"Call For Applications: WTO Young Professionals Program 2026 (World Trade Organization)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The WTO Young Professionals Program is an opportunity for young individuals worldwide to gain work experience with the World Trade Organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a WTO Young Professional, you will not only be enriching your CV with experience, the organization will also provide you with a stipend of CHF 4,000 Monthly for living expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The WTO Young Professionals Program is an opportunity for young people to enhance their knowledge of WTO and skills in international trade issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Programme aims to widen the pool of professionals from these WTO Members, with the ultimate goal of broadening their representation in the WTO and\/or other regional and international organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The recruitment policy of the WTO is to seek to attract and retain staff members offering the highest standards of competence, efficiency and integrity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As an Equal Opportunities Employer, the WTO gives full regard to merit and diversity.&nbsp;Apply as soon as possible if you are interested and qualified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Have completed an advanced university degree in economics, econometrics, international relations, law, environment studies, or other trade-related subjects relevant to the work of the WTO.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have a general knowledge of the work of the WTO.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possess technical knowledge in one or more of the areas of work indicated above.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have good drafting skills in English. Ability to draft in French and\/or Spanish would be an advantage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be able to work independently and as part of a team, in a multicultural environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have demonstrated a strong interest in international trade and the multilateral trading system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Express commitment and passion for trade or WTO-related work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be up to the age of 32 years, as of 1 January 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be fluent in English.
