This initiative aligns with the World Food Prize Foundation\u2019s mission to elevate innovations and inspire action toward alleviating global hunger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key Highlights<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Global Call for Startups:<\/strong>\u00a0Open to startups worldwide, with a special emphasis on innovation and sustainability<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Live Pitch Event:<\/strong>\u00a0Finalists will showcase their AgTech solutions during the 2025 Borlaug Dialogue<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Top Prize:<\/strong>\u00a0The winning startup will receive $50,000 to further their impact on global food security<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong>:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Challenge is open to early-stage, for-profit startups in the AgTech space. Eligible companies must meet the following requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be in the early stages of development, from validated concepts to pre-Series A funding<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have at least one founder\u00a0working full-time on the project<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrate innovation, market potential, and alignment with sustainability goals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Startups will be evaluated on:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Innovation Impact: The novelty and significance of the solution<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Market Potential: Viability and demand within the agricultural industry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sustainability Contribution: Alignment with environmental and social goals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scalability and Replicability: Ability to expand and adapt across diverse contexts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Prizes and Recognition<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The top three finalists will receive:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>1st Place:<\/strong>\u00a0$50,000<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2nd Place:<\/strong>\u00a0$10,000<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>3rd Place:<\/strong>\u00a0$5,000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>All finalists will gain:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Unmatchable global exposure by presenting their solutions at the 2025 Borlaug Dialogue in Des Moines, Iowa, which anticipates a gathering of over 1,500 food and agricultural leaders from more than 70 countries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Unique opportunities to engage with investors, industry experts, fellow entrepreneurs, policymakers, and potential partners from around the world<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Judging Panel<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The World Food Prize Foundation is honored to work alongside five judges for the Innovate for Impact Challenge, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Han Chen:<\/strong>\u00a0Renowned business leader and expert in sustainable innovation and technology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lazarus Lynch:<\/strong>\u00a0Chef, author and advocate for inclusive solutions to food security challenges<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Additional judges will be announced prior to the final pitch in October 2025.
