{"id":28399,"date":"2025-03-27T10:57:42","date_gmt":"2025-03-27T10:57:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=28399"},"modified":"2025-03-27T10:57:48","modified_gmt":"2025-03-27T10:57:48","slug":"2025-google-student-researcher-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/2025-google-student-researcher-program\/","title":{"rendered":"2025 Google Student Researcher Program"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Google Student Researcher Program is a paid position that offers the opportunity to work directly with Google research scientists and engineers on research projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2025 Google Student Researcher Program offers more opportunities for research students to work on critical research projects at Google in a less structured way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Minimum qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Currently pursuing a Bachelor\u2019s, Master\u2019s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Statistics, Biostatistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, or Natural Sciences, or equivalent practical experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in one area of computer science (e.g., Natural Language Understanding, Human Computer Interactions, Generative Media, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Algorithmic Foundations of Optimization, Quantum Information Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or similar areas).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Preferred qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program in EMEA and returning to the program after completion of the internship.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience as a researcher, including internships, full-time, or at a lab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience contributing to research communities or efforts, including publishing papers in major conferences or journals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages (e.g., C\/C++, Java, MATLAB, Go, Python, etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>regular pay and salary during the program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>opportunity to work directly with Google research scientists and engineers on research projects.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>to participate in research to develop solutions for real-world, large-scale problems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to Apply?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You will need an updated CV or resume and a current unofficial or official transcript in English.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the \u201cApply\u201d button on this page and provide the required materials in the appropriate sections (PDFs preferred):\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In the \u201cResume Section:\u201d attach an updated CV or resume.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the \u201cEducation Section:\u201d attach a current or recent unofficial or official transcript in English.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under \u201cDegree Status,\u201d select \u201cNow attending\u201d to upload a transcript.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and it\u2019s in the applicant\u2019s best interest to apply early.
