{"id":28761,"date":"2025-04-11T13:32:18","date_gmt":"2025-04-11T13:32:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=28761"},"modified":"2025-04-11T13:32:20","modified_gmt":"2025-04-11T13:32:20","slug":"rhodes-scholarship-2025-at-university-of-oxford","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/rhodes-scholarship-2025-at-university-of-oxford\/","title":{"rendered":"Rhodes Scholarship 2025 at University of Oxford"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Rhodes Trust Scholarship is a fully-funded award offering successful candidates a full tuition waiver plus a living stipend of \u00a318,180 per annum during their period of study in the UK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The University of Oxford Rhodes Scholarship also provides a settling allowance and health insurance. It also covers the costs of a visa and two economy flight tickets to travel to and from the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Nationality\/Citizenship<\/strong>: You may only apply to the Rhode Scholarships if you are not eligible to apply via any existing\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rhodeshouse.ox.ac.uk\/scholarships\/constituency-information\/\">Rhodes constituency<\/a>. If you have a strong connection to one or more Rhodes constituency but do not meet their eligibility criteria you should also consider inter-jurisdictional consideration rather than the Global Scholarship<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Age<\/strong>: You must meet either of the below criteria:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You must be aged 18-24 on 1st October 2025 (i.e. you must have been born after 1 October 1999 and before 2 October 2006). OR for medical, dental, pharmaceutical, law and engineering students, to allow you to complete your professional internship.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must be aged 18-25 on 1st October 2025 (i.e. you must have been born after 1 October 1998 and before 2 October 2006). OR for older candidates who completed their first undergraduate degree later than usual.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must be under the age of 27 on 1st October 2025 (i.e. have been born after 1 October 1998) AND you must also have completed your first undergraduate degree on or after 1 October 2024.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>3.&nbsp;<strong>Academic achievement<\/strong>: You must have already completed an undergraduate degree (normally a Bachelor\u2019s degree).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Given the very intense international competition for places at the University of Oxford, candidates will have a greater chance of successful admission to Oxford if they have a First Class Honours Degree or equivalent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>4.&nbsp;<strong>English language<\/strong>: You must have a sufficiently high standard of English to meet the English language proficiency requirements (at the Higher Level listed) of the University of Oxford.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You do not need to meet the English language requirement if English is your first language and you are a citizen of and have been primarily resident in a majority English-speaking country.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Duration and Reward<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Rhodes Trust Scholarship covers all University and College fees, a living stipend \u00a319,092 per annum (\u00a31,591 per month); settling in allowance, health insurance, visa, two economy class flights \u2013 to and from the UK \u2013 for the beginning and end of studies in Oxford.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The basic tenure of the scholarship is two years, subject always, and at all times, to satisfactory academic performance and personal conduct.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to Apply?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rhodeshouse.ox.ac.uk\/scholarships\/applications\/\">CLICK HERE TO APPLY<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Deadline: <\/strong>August 28, 2025<a href=\"https:\/\/api.whatsapp.com\/send?text=APPLY%20FOR%20THIS%20SCHOLARSHIP%20https:\/\/www.scholarshipregion.com\/university-of-oxford-rhodes-scholarship\/\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Rhodes Trust Scholarship is a fully-funded award offering successful candidates a full tuition waiver plus a living stipend of<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":11442,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"colormag_page_container_layout":"default_layout","colormag_page_sidebar_layout":"default_layout","footnotes":""},"categories":[49],"tags":[55,2415,9,64],"class_list":["post-28761","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-education","tag-education","tag-rhodes-trust-scholarship","tag-scholarship","tag-student"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
