To learn more please visit&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/gggi.org\/about\/\">about GGGI<\/a>&nbsp;web page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Global Green Growth Institute internship program (also called \u201cGrow Green\u201d Program) provides a unique learning opportunity for students and recent graduates from diverse academic backgrounds. The program is designed for talented and motivated individuals skilled in areas relevant to GGGI\u2019s operations. The program allows selected candidates to gain insight into the work of the Institute and provides assistance and training in various professional fields in a multicultural environment. We encourage qualified women and men, in particular, nationals of developing countries, with diverse professional, academic, and cultural backgrounds to apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Current Opportunity<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>They are looking for a talented and motivated individual with deep interest on mitigation and markets to work with them in the Carbon Pricing Unit (CPU) in Seoul to support the development and management of technical information and knowledge-sharing materials for GGGI\u2019s new Carbon Transaction Facility (CTF). This may include work with the new CTF or current earmarked projects that form part of it. The scope of activities to be undertaken includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Developing capacity-building materials related to Article 6 of the Paris Agreement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supporting the CPU to create training and explanatory materials for country teams for CTF implementation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supporting the development of knowledge products for the CTF, including information for evaluating new projects and supporting teams to implement new projects (formats, budgets, report forms, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Researching relevant information, including news and releases of technical inputs from the UNFCCC and other relevant institutions related to the CTF and preparing brief notes and summary documents of technical information<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analyzing documents from consultancies that can support CTF operations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinating meeting schedules with internal and external stakeholders<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attending relevant meetings, drafting minutes, and ensuring timely clearance and distribution among CPU team members<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organizing, version controlling &amp; archiving documents in a systematic manner<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Others relevant to the Carbon Transaction Facility and the CPU Unit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants to the GGGI internship program must at the time of application meet the following requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be enrolled in a Bachelor\u2019s (final year), Master\u2019s or PhD program prior to internship assignment, or a recent graduate within the last 12 months.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be engaged or recently engaged in academic study in a field directly related to the Institute\u2019s work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possess an excellent command of English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Selection Process<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>GGGI evaluates applications based on: eligibility requirements, relevance of academic study and work experience (if any); and the level of interest and motivation to contribute to development work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Due to high volume of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Terms and conditions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Duration: The internship program is for at least three months and up to six&nbsp;months. Once selected, interns must begin your internship either prior to or within 12 months of graduation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Stipend:<\/strong> GGGI interns receive a monthly stipend of $500 per month (unless agreed to be funded by sponsoring institutions). All costs related to travel, insurance, accommodation, and living expenses must be borne by either the interns themselves or sponsoring institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Visa:<\/strong> GGGI will provide a supporting letter for visa. Interns will be responsible for obtaining and financing the necessary visas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Travel: <\/strong>Intern will arrange and finance their travel to the internship location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Medical Insurance:<\/strong> Interns must present proof of valid medical insurance to GGGI upon returning the signed internship contract.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Academic Credit:<\/strong>\u00a0Interns may get academic credit from their institution of higher education for the internship. Interns need to check with their university to confirm their academic credit policy for internships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Working Hours:<\/strong> Interns are expected to work during normal working hours.
