{"id":28902,"date":"2025-04-17T16:22:00","date_gmt":"2025-04-17T16:22:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=28902"},"modified":"2025-04-17T16:22:05","modified_gmt":"2025-04-17T16:22:05","slug":"delta-state-bursary-and-scholarship-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/delta-state-bursary-and-scholarship-award\/","title":{"rendered":"Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Award"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>It is hereby announced for the information of the general public and particularly students of Delta State Origin that the Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board has commenced online bursary registration of Students for the State Government&#8217;s 2024\/2025 Students Special Assistant Scheme (SSAS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>APPLICATION FOR 2024\/2025 STUDENTS SPECIAL ASSISTANCE SCHEME (SSAS) &#8211; BURSARY AWARD PROGRAMME<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Candidate must be of Delta State origin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have National Identification Number (NIN)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be registered full-time student of ONLY Government approved private and public Tertiary Institutions (PGD, Masters and PHD Student are NOT eligible)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have CGPA of 2.20 and above in the previous academic year&#8217;s examination<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be in second year (200 and above) in the Universities ND II and HND II in the Polytechnic&#8217;s\/Monotechnic and NCE II-III in the Colleges of Education<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have an account with a CBN approved commercial bank<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to Apply?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Log on to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.dsbsb.dl.gov.ng\/\">http:\/\/www.dsbsb.dl.gov.ng<\/a>\u00a0then click on the &#8220;APPLY NOW&#8221; to submit your bursary form<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will be charged a non-refundable fee of Eight Hundred Naira Only (N800) for online processing using a debit card.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Online Acknowledgement card should be downloaded and printed for your personal record.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Registration\/Opening of site is for the period of four (4) weeks (Tuesday 15th April &#8211; Wednesday May 14th 2025).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There shall be physical verification at the close of registration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For Enquiries:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All enquiries should be channelled to; Helplines: 0810-978-6538 | 0805-694-9376 | 0802-350-3315<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Email Address: support@dsbsb.dl.gov.ng Instagram: @dsbsb_12 Twitter: @dsbsb<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Signed: DR.
