They facilitate small-scale, high-impact projects identified by local community members, to fulfill key needs and whose impact and success can be carefully measured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CorpsAfrica Volunteers come from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and education including agriculture, gender, health, education, water and sanitation, environment, business, engineering, peace studies, language studies, as well as many others. All Volunteers must have a college degree or equivalent experience, and most Volunteers join CorpsAfrica with experience in the social sector and designing, implementing and monitoring projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The additional (and essential) skills that Volunteers need for their service\u2013including community integration, proposal development, and project design and management\u2013are taught as part of CorpsAfrica\u2019s expert training program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications for the 2025-2026 service year are open for Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Morocco, and Senegal through April 30, 2025. The applications for Rwanda and South Africa will open on May 1, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Make sure to follow CorpsAfrica on social media for announcements about recruitment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Requirements<\/strong>:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Applicants must be a&nbsp;<strong>citizen&nbsp;<\/strong>of the selected country and&nbsp;<strong>at least&nbsp;21 years of age<\/strong>&nbsp;at the start of service<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicants must have a&nbsp;<strong>university degree or equivalent professional experience&nbsp;<\/strong>to apply<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willingness and ability to serve for the entirety of the service year in&nbsp;<strong>rural &amp; remote communities<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Understand that&nbsp;<strong>volunteerism is an altruistic act<\/strong>, without&nbsp;<strong>expectation of financial gain<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Benefits<\/strong>:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Expert pre-service and in-service training facilitated by development and management professionals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A living allowance adequate to support the Volunteer in his\/her site<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Health\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/msmeafricaonline.com\/call-for-applications-corpsafrica-volunteer-program-for-young-africans-health-insurance-living-allowance-travel-funds-certificate-of-completion\/#\">\u00a0insurance<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Travel funds for official CorpsAfrica business<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An end-of-service readjustment allowance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Certificate of completion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After completing service, option to apply to serve a second year in a different country and admission to the CorpsAfrica Alumni Association<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A life-changing experience which will serve you well throughout your personal and professional life<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bAfter completing the application, a&nbsp;<strong>local selection committee board<\/strong>&nbsp;will review each candidate\u2019s materials and invite a select group of applicants for an interview. Following a successful interview, candidates will receive an offer letter to serve as CorpsAfrica Volunteers and further instructions about Pre-Service Training. The&nbsp;<strong>process is highly selective<\/strong>, and<strong>&nbsp;only top candidates will receive an interview invitation<\/strong>.
