The scholarship will directly benefit academically talented but disadvantaged youth from five East African countries \u2013 Ethiopia, Somalia, Eritrea , Djibouti and South Sudan. The Graduate Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program is designed to help Scholars acquire transformational and leadership skills and demonstrate high professional and scholarly competencies to effectively influence global, regional, national and local socioeconomic development trends. Cafeterias are open three times a day to provide meals for students and most lounges are open for 18 hours each day to provide meals and beverages for students and staffs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Campus Facilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The University of Gondar has&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.uog.edu.et\/about-university-of-gondar\/campuses\/\"><strong>five campuses<\/strong><\/a>. The University has a number of facilities including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Banking services<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 The Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) has a full-service branch at the Tewodros campus. ATMs are located at:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The main gate of the University, Maraki (Dashen Bank, United Bank and Commercial Bank of Ethiopia)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.uog.edu.et\/about-university-of-gondar\/campuses\/tewodros\/\"><strong>Atse Tewodros Campus\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>near the Post Office (Commercial Bank)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The College of Medicine and Health Sciences and Hospital complex (CBE (3) and United Bank (1))<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Library Services<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 the University has\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/uog.edu.et\/library\/\"><strong>nine libraries\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>that provide a wide range of library services, including computer laboratories, digital resources, training and support for students with disabilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Information Communications Technology (ICT) facilities<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 the University provides technology support through a main office at the\u00a0<strong><u>Atse Tewodros Campus<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0and through offices in all faculties. There are several computer laboratories on campus, and students have access to free internet services through a username and password.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Guidance and Counseling Services<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 the University provides guidance and counselling services for all students, as well as\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.uog.edu.et\/services\/specialist-direct-services\/\"><strong>community support services<\/strong><\/a>.
