Furthermore, the programme will equip participants with knowledge and skills in leadership, mentorship,\u00a0management, resource enterprise planning, and entrepreneur-ship. Participants will gain a 2-year valuable theoretical and handson\u00a0biomanufacturing and R&amp;D industry experience, including a strong focus in one area of specialization of their choice. The\u00a0fellows are not expected to leave their job, but they are expected to travel for some short courses\/trainings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Africa CDC Biomanufacturing Fellowship programme is\u00a0targeted at employees of active biomanufacturing companies\u00a0who hold a minimum of a Master\u2019s degree in the following or\u00a0related fields:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Biotechnology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chemistry and Biochemistry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Biochemical Engineering<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Additional requirements:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Citizens of an African Union Member States<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Citizens of an African Union Member States that has\u00a0<em>an active vaccine manufacturing company.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must possess a valid passport<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicants should be willing to allocate the time\u00a0<em>required to complete both the virtual and in-person<\/em>\u00a0<em>meetings\/trainings.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicants should also be able to get leave of absence\u00a0<em>from their employers.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must submit a support letter from their employers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Selection process<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Africa CDC PHAHM will set up a committee to review\u00a0all applications, and only those selected will be contacted\u00a0for further processes.
