Managed by UNESCO, this Network empowers youth and students to contribute to educational policy, advocacy, and innovation. Members engage in various activities, including workshops, conferences, and collaborative projects, to promote inclusive and equitable quality education for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Details<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Members participate in the Network in their personal capacity and serve for a period of 2 years: from\u00a0<strong>January 2026 to December 2027<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>New members will also participate in inception activities together with current members\u00a0<strong>between October and December 2025<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Requirements<\/strong>:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Between the ages of\u00a0<strong>16 and 30<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be an\u00a0<strong>active member of a national, regional and\/or global non-governmental and not-for-profit organization\u00a0of youth and students<\/strong>\u00a0working in a field related to SDG4 \u2013 Education 2030.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be\u00a0active in the fields related to\u00a0<strong>SDG4 \u2013 Education 2030<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have\u00a0<strong>no conflict of interest<\/strong>\u00a0as per the Network Code of Conduct (e.g. hold government positions or employment in for-profit organizations and companies that may generate a conflict of interest).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Membership is free and unremunerated. Joining the Network does not create any work relation with UNESCO nor any right to use UNESCO\u2019s name and logo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Selection Process<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2026-2027 cohort will be composed of 60 to 100 members. The selection will be carried out as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>May-July 2025:<\/strong>\u00a0Call for applications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>July-August 2025:<\/strong>\u00a0Analysis of applications by a Selection Committee composed of UNESCO personnel and volunteer SDG4 Youth &amp; Student Network Executive Committee members. At least another UN organization or office with a mandate on Youth will participate as observer to ensure transparency and fairness.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>September 2025:<\/strong>\u00a0Notification of selection<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In analyzing the applications, the Selection Committee will pay particular attention to the following aspects:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strong interest and expertise in education and sustainable development, at grassroots level.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leadership qualities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Active involvement in candidates\u2019 communities or educational institutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Commitment to participating in the network for a two-year period (2026-2027).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Diversity, inclusion, geographical and gender balance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Throughout the application, you will need to provide detailed information about your current work as SDG4 \u2013 Education 2030 advocate.
