{"id":2963,"date":"2022-07-20T12:27:40","date_gmt":"2022-07-20T12:27:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=2963"},"modified":"2022-07-20T12:33:47","modified_gmt":"2022-07-20T12:33:47","slug":"nbte-withdraws-abia-state-polytechnic-accreditation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/nbte-withdraws-abia-state-polytechnic-accreditation\/","title":{"rendered":"NBTE Withdraws Abia State Polytechnic Accreditation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), has been withdrawn the accreditation status of the Abia state polytechnic following the non-payment of workers&#8217; salaries and allowances by the school management spanning a period of 30 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The board announced the withdrawal in a statement issued by the Head, Media Department, Fatima Abubakar, in Kaduna State on Tuesday, July 19 2022, saying the decision was reached after&nbsp;it realized that the management of the polytechnic was not committed to upsetting the arrears and ensuring regular payment of salaries to its workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Therefore, the NBTE\u00a0has advised the NYSC not\u00a0to mobilize any Abia\u00a0State Polytechnic\u00a0graduate for the national youth service until the institution remedies the problem.
