{"id":29660,"date":"2025-05-29T15:36:42","date_gmt":"2025-05-29T15:36:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/?p=29660"},"modified":"2025-05-29T15:36:48","modified_gmt":"2025-05-29T15:36:48","slug":"2025-chinese-government-mofcom-scholarship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspay.ng\/news\/2025-chinese-government-mofcom-scholarship\/","title":{"rendered":"2025 Chinese Government MOFCOM Scholarship"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Ministry of Commerce of People\u2019s Republic of China invites applications from individuals who has interest in studying for a degree program at any Chinese Institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The MOFCOM Scholarship exempts successful candidates from tuition, covers their accommodation, airfare, and will also provide a stipend of \u00a545,000 per year to cover living expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be a citizen of a developing country other than the People\u2019s Republic of China, and under the age of 45 (born after September 1, 1974)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be in good health<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have at least three years\u2019\u00a0 working experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be a bachelor\u2019s degree holder when applying for master\u2019s program;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be a master\u2019s degree holder when applying for doctoral program;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have sufficient English or Chinese proficiency which meets the academic requirements of the program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Duration and Reward<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students are exempt from tuition fee, teaching material fee, research and survey fee, allowance of English-taught program, dissertation guidance fee;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Free on-campus accommodation;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monthly stipend:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>36000RMB per year per master student,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>42000RMB per year per PhD student;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One-off resettlement fee: 3000RMB per person;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Free medical insurance for international students;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One-time round-trip international airfare for all the students (First time fly to China after enrollment, and Fly back to home country while graduation), and a maximum of \u201cn-1\u201d (\u201cn\u201d is for the length of schooling year which is set while the student was enrolled by the program, \u201cn\u201d is less than or equal to three) round-trip international airfares for home visits (one time per year set at the end of an academic year);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The annual review is compulsory for all students. Those who pass the review may continue to enjoy full scholarships in the next year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other expenses shall be managed and used by the Ministry of Commerce or the universities as a whole, and shall not be distributed to students. The Ministry of Commerce only provides students with financial assistance within their enrolled academic duration. Students who postpone their graduation will not receive the continuing sponsorship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How To Apply?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Apply to any Chinese university of their choice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visit\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.csc.edu.cn\/studyinchina\"><strong>www.csc.edu.cn\/studyinchina<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.campuschina.org\/\"><strong>https:\/\/www.campuschina.org<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Register an account through\u00a0<strong>[CREATE AN ACCOUNT]<\/strong>\u00a0and login with your account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click \u201c<strong>Edit Personal Details<\/strong>\u201d and finish inputting personal details by filling in all the information, verifying and saving the information.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After the completion of this section, return to the previous page by clicking \u201cFinish\u201d and start filling in your application information.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the correct \u201cProgram Category\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Input your Agency Number is: 00010.
