Each year, the foundation provides full one-year tuition coverage along with a stipend to support studies at Nigerian universities. The Kponee-Shovein Scholars Award is exclusively available to students pursuing a bachelor\u2019s degree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What the Kponee-Shovein Scholarship Offers<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>he foundation provides full tuition coverage for one academic year at Nigerian universities, along with a financial stipend to support students\u2019 living and academic expenses. This support is designed to ease the financial burden of higher education and allow scholars to focus fully on their studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria for the Kponee-Shovein Foundation Scholarship<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants must be indigenes of Rivers State and currently enrolled in a recognized and accredited university anywhere in Nigeria, demonstrating active pursuit of their undergraduate studies.<br><br><strong>Process for Choosing Recipients<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Top applicants in each cycle will be designated as \u201cfinalists\u201d and invited to an interview with the foundation\u2019s founders. Scholarship recipients, chosen from these finalists, will be notified by the end of the year and are required to attend an in-person interview in Port Harcourt with the Chief Operating Officer to access tuition support and the stipend. Additionally, all scholars must have their school ID card, local government identification letter, and tuition statement verified by the Chief Operating Officer to qualify for funding.
