The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) have called for a bill to regulate how children of public officers enroll in schools outside the shores of Nigeria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This call was made by\u00a0Prof. Kingdom Tombra, Chairman of the University of Niger Delta University Wilberforce Island chapter of ASUU during\u00a0the solidarity protest organised by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) on Tuesday in Yenagoa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to him,\u00a0If this is done, it will\u00a0build a better society by developing formidable educational institutions\u00a0and improve funding of the university system in Nigeria.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He noted that if the rich and poor attend the same university or institution, there will be an end to strike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
