If yes, you can apply for the International Natural Hazards Research Australia Postgraduate Research Scholarships for the academic year 2022-2023. Natural Hazards Research Australia\u2019s postgraduate research scholarship program is now open to domestic and international students to support eligible students enrolling in full-time PhD studies, but applications from students studying\u00a0master\u00a0by\u00a0research\u00a0degrees or intending to study part-time will be considered. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong>&nbsp;Applications for 2022 scholarships are now open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligible Countries:\u00a0<\/strong>Domestic or International <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Type:&nbsp;<\/strong>PhD. or Masters<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Value of Award:<\/strong>&nbsp;up to $15,000 to $30,000<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Number of Awards:&nbsp;<\/strong>Not Mentioned<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Eligible Countries<\/strong>: Applicants from Australian citizens or permanent residents and International students.<\/li><li><strong>Eligible Course or Subjects<\/strong>: PhD or master\u2019s by research degrees in any subject offered by the university.<\/li><li><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong>: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:<\/li><li>Preference will be given to students enrolling in full-time PhD studies. Still, applications from students studying Masters by Research degrees or intending to study part-time will also be considered.<\/li><li>Applicants who are Australian citizens or permanent residents that either:<\/li><li>Are you enrolled in a higher research degree at an Australian or New Zealand university<\/li><li>Have been offered a research higher degree position at an Australian or New Zealand university, with a commencement date no later than 12 months after the date on which the application is submitted.<\/li><li>Applicants who are international students must be enrolled in their course of study before applying for a scholarship. These applicants must also provide evidence of their ability to use their separate funding to cover university tuition fees, as our scholarships are not provided to cover these expenses.<\/li><li>Applicants must be studying full-time; however, where there is a compelling reason, part-time student applications will be considered on a pro-rata scholarship basis.<\/li><li>Applicants must have developed a project proposal (no longer than two pages) that focuses on a research area aligned with the Centre\u2019s&nbsp;published research themes and priorities.<\/li><li>Applicants are expected to undertake their research with the support of the research team and provide evidence that the proposed project is aligned with the Supervisor\u2019s research team.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to Apply:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Applicants must complete the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.naturalhazards.com.au\/sites\/default\/files\/2022-01\/Natural%20Hazards%20Scholarship%20Application_0.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">application form<\/a>.&nbsp;If you need support completing your application, please email&nbsp;research@naturalhazards.com.au.<\/li><li><strong>Supporting Documents:&nbsp;<\/strong>The students are required to present the following documents to the University:<\/li><li>Their academic record<\/li><li>The quality of the proposed research project, and the feasibility of achieving the outcomes<\/li><li>The commitment of support from the proposed Supervisor for the student<\/li><li>Alignment of the research to the Centre\u2019s research themes<\/li><li>The potential contribution of the research project to the Centre\u2019s objectives of reducing disaster risk and strengthening disaster resilience.<\/li><li><strong>&nbsp;Admission Requirements:&nbsp;<\/strong>Applicants must have (or expect to receive) an Honors degree of at least class 2A or equivalent.<\/li><li><strong>Language Requirement:&nbsp;<\/strong>If English is not your first language, you must provide proof of your English proficiency before starting your studies at the university.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Benefits;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The university will provide all the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Full scholarships:<\/strong>&nbsp;up to $30,000 per year for up to three and a half years for PhD students and up to two years for Master\u2019s Students (excluding periods of approved leave).<\/li><li><strong>Top-up PhD scholarships<\/strong>: up to $15,000 per year for three and a half years to either:<\/li><li>holders of Australian Postgraduate Awards (APA) or similar university research scholarships<\/li><li>Holders of partial scholarships funded by an industry organization.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.naturalhazards.com.au\/sites\/default\/files\/2022-01\/Natural%20Hazards%20Scholarship%20Application_0.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Visit The Official Website For More Information<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Source: Myschool.ng<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>#EduSAVINGS#EduLOANS#EduSURE#INTERNSHIP#SCHOLARSHIP#EduHEALTHMAINTAINANCE#ENTERPRENUERSHIP#PressPayNg#TERTIARY#EDUCATION#TUITION#FEES#UNIVERSITY#POLYTECHNIC#MONOTECHNIC<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Do you want to study in Australia?
