Since MIPLC is a part of this program, applicants for the MIPLC LL.M. program from developing countries can apply for these scholarships (usually six per academic year) provided they fulfill the DAAD&#8217;s eligibility criteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>October 15, 2022 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligible Countries:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>International<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Type:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Masters <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Number of Awardees:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Not specified<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Value of Scholarship:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The scholarship recipient(s) will get a full tuition waiver from the MIPLC.<\/li><li>The DAAD will pay the scholarship recipient(s) a monthly stipend of EUR 750.00.<\/li><li>As a rule, the scholarship additionally includes certain payments towards health, accident and liability insurance coverage in Germany.<\/li><li>In addition, the DAAD will generally pay an appropriate travel allowance, unless these costs are covered by the home country or by another funding source.<\/li><li>Furthermore, the DAAD will also pay a study and research allowance.<\/li><li>Last but not least, the scholarship covers a mandatory two-month German course before the start of the MIPLC LL.M. program.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The scholarship does not cover additional costs, e.g. enrollment fees or the fees for a semester ticket for public transport in Munich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Hold at least a four-year Bachelor\u2019s degree (or a three-year Bachelor\u2019s degree plus a further degree), completed with above-average results.<\/li><li>Have received their&nbsp;latest degree no more than six years ago.<\/li><li>Have at least two years of full-time professional experience gained in a public authority or a state or private company in a developing country (university staff and academics are generally not taken into account). To meet this requirement, it is sufficient if candidate&nbsp;has completed the two years by the time the program starts in October. In any case, the experience must have been gained after the completion of your first university degree.<\/li><li>Have English test scores which meet the MIPLC requirements (see scholarship website).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Application Process:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Please refer to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.miplc.de\/index.php?eID=tx_nawsecuredl&amp;u=0&amp;g=0&amp;t=1629216472&amp;hash=5a6f9ba2dd8f67db36c532e98cfbb39e7aaec8be&amp;file=\/fileadmin\/miplc\/Application-Admission\/DAADBrochure_2022-23.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>DAAD program brochure 2022\/23<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and read the information carefully.<\/li><li>Determine whether you are eligible to apply by DAAD and MIPLC standards, keeping in mind that where MIPLC and DAAD have differing requirements, the stricter requirements prevail.<\/li><li>Apply for admission to the MIPLC (please refer to the\u00a0How to Apply\u00a0page).<\/li><li>When you come to the end of the online application form, check <em><strong>\u201cI would like to apply for the DAAD scholarship<\/strong><\/em>\u201d and complete the MIPLC Financial Assistance Application Form that opens automatically (please refer to the\u00a0Financial Assistance Application Instructions).<\/li><li>Print the forms and add all required documentation, as per the instructions provided.<\/li><li>Download and complete the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.miplc.de\/index.php?eID=tx_nawsecuredl&amp;u=0&amp;g=0&amp;t=1629216472&amp;hash=fffa81f3df6abbc1421c0858c9b819bf66b99d8d&amp;file=\/fileadmin\/miplc\/Application-Admission\/DAADScholarshipApplicationForm.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DAAD Scholarship Application Form<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and add the other documents required by the DAAD (please refer to the\u00a0DAAD brochure; NB: the MIPLC does not require a research proposal). You only have to submit one copy of each document, even if a document, e.g. your CV,\u00a0is required by both MIPLC and DAAD.<\/li><li>Make sure that your file is complete, including all three application forms<br>(the MIPLC application form for admission;\u00a0the MIPLC application form for financial assistance, and\u00a0the DAAD application form for the scholarship)<br>and all the required documents. Otherwise, your application cannot be processed. Please note that we only need the original application package, no additional copies.<\/li><li>Make\u00a0copies of all application documents. If your are awarded the\u00a0scholarship, you will have to upload electronic copies of these documents to the DAAD\u2019s\u00a0system.<\/li><li>Send your application: Please submit your application directly to the MIPLC, unless you are from Cameroon, in which case you must submit your application through the German Embassy in your country.
