To that end, the MSCFP provides scholarships to selected students studying towards a Master\u2019s degree in nuclear related subjects as well as internship opportunities facilitated by IAEA.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who should apply? Eligibility criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The IAEA MSCFP is open to students from IAEA Member States who meet the following entry requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Female candidates;<\/li><li>Accepted by or enrolled in an accredited university in Master\u2019s programme in a nuclear related field.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Preference will be given to applicants with above average academic credentials (75% or above or GPA &gt; 3.0 out of 4.0).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fields of study<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme supports young women studying in nuclear related fields relevant to the IAEA\u2019s work to advance the safe, secure and peaceful uses of nuclear science and technology such as nuclear engineering, nuclear physics and chemistry, nuclear medicine, isotopic techniques, radiation biology, nuclear safety, nuclear security, non-proliferation and nuclear law. The online application portal will open on Friday, 15 July 2022 and will close on Friday, 30 September 2022 at 23:59 (CEST).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The documents required in addition to completed online application form are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Copy of the Passport\/National ID<\/li><li>Official acceptance\/admission letter from university into the Master\u2019s programme indicating the nuclear related field of study and duration of the programme<\/li><li>Statement of tuition fees\/confirmation of\u202ftuition costs<\/li><li>Completed reference forms&nbsp;<strong>sent directly to&nbsp;<\/strong><a href=\"mailto:MSCFP@iaea.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>MSCFP@iaea.org<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;by TWO referees (download the form&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.iaea.org\/sites\/default\/files\/22\/06\/mscfp-applicant-reference-form.pdf\">here<\/a>).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NOTE:&nbsp;<\/strong>All application documents must be submitted in English using the MSCFP online application form. If documents are submitted in original language please also include official translation in English.&nbsp;<strong>Incomplete applications will not be considered.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Selection process<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications are assessed by the IAEA MSCFP Technical Selection Committee against MSCFP selection criteria including the applicant\u2019s entry requirements, educational background and prior achievements, motivation and impact of the fellowship on the applicant\u2019s career goals and commitment to public service. Consideration is given to geographic, field of study and linguistic diversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All applicants will be notified of the decision by e-mail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>MSCFP award<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The students are awarded up to \u20ac20,000 for tuition costs and up to \u20ac20,000 for living costs for living costs for the Master\u2019s programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Obligations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The selected applicants will receive an offer and will be requested to confirm the acceptance of the fellowship within one week.
