It also supports the development of new lifelong learning solutions which includes IT upskilling opportunities and innovation in edtech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Objectives<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The objectives of the programme are:<ul><li>To respond to the challenges and opportunities brought by the fourth industrial revolution technologies through offering IT upskilling opportunities to young people in the Levant and connecting them to global markets.<\/li><li>To encourage the creation of innovative learning solutions which supplements traditional&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/education\/\">education<\/a>&nbsp;and responds to the demands of the world of work.<\/li><li>To promote entrepreneurship skills and to reduce the obstacles faced by young entrepreneurs in the Levant, including improving access to entrepreneurship programming outside major cities; finance and markets; and mentorship.<\/li><li>To strengthen existing entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems, encouraging collaboration between actors to help achieve impact at scale.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Themes<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Organisation must focus on at least one of the following themes:<ul><li>IT skills development<\/li><li>Developing new learning solutions<\/li><li>Promoting and supporting entrepreneurship<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Funding Information<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/tag\/funding\/\">Funding<\/a>\u00a0can be used for OD (up to \u00a350,000) AND you can apply for extra funding specifically for Innovation (up to \u00a325,000) in addition to the OD funding.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Organisation must be:<ul><li>Charity, Not-for-profit, Non-governmental organisation or Social enterprise (minimum investing 50% of profit back in the organisation)<\/li><li>Registered in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/tag\/lebanon\/\">Lebanon<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/tag\/palestine\/\">Palestine<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/tag\/israel\/\">Israel<\/a>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/tag\/jordan\/\">Jordan<\/a>&nbsp;(or Syrian organisations registered abroad yet benefiting Levantine populations)<\/li><li>Has a Lebanese, Palestinian, Jordanian, or Syrian founder.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: for both CSP and YLEAP, small to medium-sized organisations with an average of E100,000 -\u00a3750,000\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/cat\/develop-budget-project-proposal\/\">budget<\/a>\u00a0will be prioritised (but larger organisations very welcome to apply)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information, visit\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.asfarifoundation.org.uk\/what-we-do\/yleap\/\">https:\/\/www.asfarifoundation.org.uk\/what-we-do\/yleap\/<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>30-Sep-2022<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Source: fundsforngos.org<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>#EduSAVINGS#EduLOANS#EduSURE#INTERNSHIP#SCHOLARSHIP#EduHEALTHMAINTAINANCE#ENTERPRENUERSHIP#PressPayNg#TERTIARY#EDUCATION#TUITION#FEES#UNIVERSITY#POLYTECHNIC#MONOTECHNIC#FELLOWSHIP#COLLEGEOFEDUCATION#HOLIDAYJOBS#SOFTSKILLSTRAINING<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Asfari Foundation is seeking applications for\u00a0Youth\u00a0Learning, Enterprise, and Innovation Programme (YLEAP).
