The Chairman of the\u00a0National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission(NSIWC), Mr. Ekpo NTA stated that it advised the Federal Government to increase the\u00a0salaries\u00a0of\u00a0Nigerian tertiary education lecturers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr. Ekpo disclosed this on Thursday 22 September, as lawmakers invited the agency alongside the National Information Technology Development Agency, NITDA to finalize issues related to the strike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, NTA stated that he is not aware of any agreement between the FG and ASUU for salary increments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
